
Current Auburn University football player and quarterback Zeke Pike has been jailed for public intoxication, according to Auburn police reports.
19-year-old Zeke Pike was arrested Sunday morning at 12:50am. According to police reports, Pike was arrested on South College Street, and was listed as drunk regarding condition of arrestee. Pike was taken to the Lee County Detention Facility where he later bonded out.
According to the arrest report, Pike has no previous arrest record.
WLTZ contacted Auburn police chief Tommy Dawson. "I do not comment on misdemeanor cases," Dawson said.
Information about Pike's arrest broke Sunday night. The information was reported on the website, www.leecountysheriff.org./inmatesearch.
Pike is a true freshman and enrolled at Auburn University in January. His bond was set at $300.00.
