ATLANTA – State Labor Commissioner Mark Butler announced today that
staff at the Georgia Department of Labor's (GDOL) Columbus Career Center
recently completed Career Development Facilitator (CDF) training
through the National Career Development Association.
Those completing the course were: front row, from left, Lafini Mosby, Carolyn McGriff-Anderson, Cassandra Griffin, and, back row, from left, George Twyford III, Lane Lanford, Maurice Marshall, George Vann, and Albert Lee.
Courses, such as the CDF training, are part of the GDOL's ongoing efforts to provide professional training to its staff in order to better serve its customers. CDF training assists workforce development professionals by strengthening their knowledge of career assessment, facilitating skills, and job search techniques. The training encompasses rigorous study, performance, and fieldwork requirements.
