Mobile, AL (WPMI) - Bond is set today for a man charged with shooting a former Crimson Tide football standout and current NFL free agent.
Tony Gildersleeve is charged with attempted murder and burglary. A judge set bond at $75,000 for each count. Authorities say he broke into Antwan Odom's Irvington home over an argument about a woman.
Mobile County District Attorney Ashley Rich says video clearly shows Gildersleeve climb over the fence with a shotgun and walk down the hall of the house.
Authorities say Odom actually wrestled the gun away from Gildersleeve then drove himself to the hospital after being shot in the thigh.
Odom is a Bryant High School graduate. He was released from the Cincinnati Bengals last month.
