Chattahoochee Valley Libraries looks for teen volunteers

Would you like to work with books, computers or other library materials? Would you like to help behind the scenes to make materials ready for check-out? Would you like to help with special projects or programming? If so, join our volunteer team! Volunteer opportunities are available at all seven branches of the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries. Volunteers are a vital part of the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries! Volunteers provide an opportunity for enhancing and extending the highest quality in library service. Chattahoochee Valley Libraries' volunteers bring a wide range of skills, talents and experience to the Library. Volunteers give countless hours of dedicated service at all of our seven locations.

We are looking for volunteers who:

  • Commit to a weekly schedule
  • Work a minimum of 2 hours per week
  • Are 14 years of age or older (occasionally we have projects for 12 and 13 year olds)
  • Like people and books
  • Enjoy the hard work that goes into making the Library a success
  • Posses good organizational and communication skills
