Home Invasion Suspect Wanted

Maria Jones

In tonight’s Crime-stoppers Report, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect accused of a home invasion robbery.
Authorities are still searching for 28-year-old Charles Henry George the Third. Police say George and two other men kicked in the front door of a home on Lee Road 768 last week in Salem. Witnesses say the men were armed with machetes and hatches and covered their faces with masks. One victim was tied up during the robbery as valuables were taken from the home. “What makes this a particularly a particular concern in regards to Law Enforcement in particular and to the public at large because when people just break in on people at random like this or so seemingly at and commit these crimes that’s something that I think everyone is very concerned about and certainly we are very glad that information led to the arrest of two of the individuals but we really want to get our hands on Mr. George as well," Sheriff Jones said.

George is described as a white male, with blue eyes, light brown hair, approximately 5-foot-5 inches tall, weigh about 155 pounds. He has several visible tattoos on his neck and forearms. Police say he goes by several aliases, including James Daniel McKenzie, James McCluskie, and “Chucky.” If you have any information on his whereabouts you are urged to call the Lee County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-522-7847. Remember you can remain anonymous.
