Father Beat Children's Mother in Front of Them

A father is charged with cruelty to children.
LaCharles Scott is accused of punching and hitting his girlfriend in front of her children. According to the police report, Scott told the kids to close their eyes, as he hit their mother in the face. He hit her in the face five times with a closed fist. This all took place while the family was driving on Macon Road.
When the victim arrived at her home she did not call police. Even though she has a protective order against Scott, he spent the night at her house.
