From One Desk to Another

Julie Bercik

You might remember Cheryl Myers for anchoring and reporting for the news here in Columbus.
But now, Myers has traded in the anchor desk for another type of desk.
She is the Director of Communications for Columbus Tech.
Myers is responsible for all external and internal communication. She also reports to the president, who she said is a pleasure to work with.
"He's such a positive person, just a motivator, and tells people when he's proud of the job they do,” said Myers. “That kind of transcends across all levels of the college, so everyone wants to do well just to get that sense of feeling."
Myers said she enjoys going to work, even though it doesn’t really feel like work.
