Opelika Man Charged With Rape
Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies have charged an Opelika man with rape.
DNA evidence links 5-year-old Pelle Degucci to a March 2008 rape.
The victim told police she met Degucci at a local dinner bar and considered him an acquaintance.
Degucci has been released from the Lee County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond. .
