Columbus Tech Holds Blood Drive

On another part of campus students participated in a blood drive.

The American Red Cross Blood Mobile was stationed outside of Patrick Hall.

Students filed in between classes to donate.

Columbus Tech says it can always count on its students to donate....

It has several blood drives throughout the year.

"Quarterly we have a blood drive, so this time we just decided to incorporate it with our welcome week activities. Our goal is to have about 25 donors this time,” said Tara Askew. “Quarterly, we usually have about 25 or 30 donors. We're encouraging students to meet our goal and hopefully exceed it."

Thursday is get involved day at Columbus Tech, students will learn about organizations on campus.
