New Radio Station Launches Thursday

There's a new radio station in town: 103.7 “The Truth.”

The contemporary Christian radio station launches Thursday at 6 a-m.

It promises to bring a variety of Christian songs, as well as a morning and afternoon show.

NBC 38 caught up with station Program Manager, Lee McCard to find out what sets this station apart from others.

"It's going to be a family friendly format. We're going to be playing the best of contemporary Christian music... it's the first time in Columbus. We're excited. We've got good coverage, so we feel like people from Eufaula, all the way up to LaGrange and Opelika and Auburn will be able to here the music,” said McCard.

107.3 is locally owned and operated by River City Broadcasting.
