Columbus Tech Goes Green

Julie Bercik

A group of students at columbus tech are doing their part to help the environment: they're going green.
Volunteers set up recycle bins throughout campus today.
The goal is to collect cans and paper items, and then donate the items to the Ronald McDonald house, Good Will and American Recycling.
The project is part of Skills USA.
"This is a community service part right here. This was our project. We were told to come up with a project that would help the environment and have some kind of impact so we decided to do the recycling," said Kurt Szlaczky, Volunteer.
Volunteers are needed to collect and deliver recyclables.
