So Bob are all treatable diseases and disorders factitious? If someone develops diabetes are you saying its due to parenting? I dunno where you got your MD from but clearly you won't be passing your medical boards with crazy nonesence

Bob, your comments are unbelievably offensive and ignorant. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder, whether you believe it to be or not. Your "spare the rod spoil the child" approach is not applicable to every situation.

continued again... If ADHD was a true mental "disorder", then it wouldn't be possible to treat it with things like "behavioral therapy. All "behavioral therapy" is is paying some psychologist to do the parenting and discipline for you.

continued... It's also this lack of parenting and discipline that results in the antisocial behavior and other problems in life that are mentioned in this article. Back in the days when moms stayed at home to raise their kids, there was no ADHD.

ADHD is a fictitious "disorder".If you have a child with it, you have an out of control little brat. It's just easier to have a doctor put a diagnosis on it so that you can then "treat it" with drugs instead of with discipline and good parenting.
