Kappa Delta 25th Annual Shamrock Run
The Sigma Lambda chapter of Kappa Delta at Auburn University will host its 25th Annual Shamrock 5k Run to raise money for Prevent Child Abuse America and to locally support Special Deliveries of Lee County. Kappa Delta will host its 5k run on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
The Shamrock Project is a national Kappa Delta program, that both collegian and alumnae support, to raise money for the national and local child abuse prevention organizations.
Please take a moment to sign up for the race, donate, or visit the store to purchase a t-shirt to help support our cause!
All online registrants receive a complimentary t-shirt with your registration with sizes ranging from S to 3XL.
The complimentary t-shirt will only be given to those who register before February 22nd.
These will be available at both Packet Pick-up and at Race Day Check-in for Pre-registered Participants.
If you did not pre-register, we cannot guarantee we will have a shirt available for you.
Online Race Registration Closes: Friday, 2/23/2017 at 10 A.M.
Registration is also available onsite on Day of Race. Race Day Registration Opens: 6:45am
Day of Race Registration will cost $30.
Day of Race Instructions: The run will be held on February 24th at the corner of W. Thach and Wire Road. It is located next to the Sigma Nu fraternity. The run will begin at 8 A.M., but it is suggested to arrive a little earlier to check in. Day of registration will be clearly marked under a tent. Please, stay after you cross the finish line for age group awards and door prizes.
Race Packets: Will be available for Packet Pick-Up at The Village, Willow Hall- Friday, February 23rd from 12:00pm – 4:00pm. Race day registration and packet pick-up at the starting line at Thach and Wire Road – Saturday, February 24th from 6:45 – 7:45 am. All t-shirt orders MUST be picked up at one of these times. Orders will not be shipped or mailed out.
Awards: Awards will be presented to the first place male and female finishers in the following age groups:
14&under, 15-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61&up
Door Prizes: Door prizes such as Gift Certificates, coupons, etc., will be given away the day of the race immediately following the presentation of the awards for each age group.
