Holly is a native of Anderson, South Carolina, and studied Electrical Engineering at Clemson University. She began her career in television while a student there working at the University’s Communications Center doing projects for the Athletic Department, University News Services, and the Cooperative Extension Service. Following college, Holly worked at WAXA TV40 in her hometown first in Master Control, and then as the Traffic Director. Holly moved to Columbus and went to work for WTVM as a prime time Master Control Operator; but she really wanted to make television, not just put it on the air. She left WTVM for that opportunity at TeleCable Targeting where she got her first taste of producing commercials for clients. Holly then went to work for the Columbus Consolidated Government as the first person hired to manage their new Government Access Channel. She produced the shows, programmed the channel, and installed equipment all on her own. In 1999 Holly returned to her first love, broadcast television, when she came to work in the production department at WLTZ. She has run audio for live shows and produced graphics for many programs and commercials over the years. Holly is now the Creative Services Manager at WLTZ and produces commercials to grow our clients’ business and promos to grow our station’s viewership!
When not making commercials and promos, Holly can be found with her Monday night knitting group, teaching two-year-olds in Sunday School, or home watching TV with her cat, Gracie.
