Julie Bercik joined the NBC 38 News team in September 2007. She is a 2007 graduate of Kent State University, where she majored in Broadcast journalism and minored in Political Science. During her time at Kent State, Julie served as the News Director, reporter and anchor of her college TV station, TV2.

In addition to her work at TV2, Julie also reported for PBS’s NewsOhio, interned at KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh and is the 2006 recipient of the Society of Professional Journalists award for in-depth reporting.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Julie is obsessed with the Steelers and Penguins. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Julie is delighted to be in Columbus, and is looking forward to a winter without snow.
