Phenix City Russell County Library Partners with American Red Cross to Host Blood Drive

Phenix City Russell County Library are partnering with the American Red Cross to host a Blood Drive.

It will be their Spring Blood Drive at the Phenix City Russell County Library, 1501 17th Ave., Phenix City, on March 13 from 11:30am to 4:30pm, EST.

According to officials, they say each donation can save up to three lives.

Donors who gave at their previous drive are eligible to donate again at this upcoming event.

The American Red Cross has an urgent need for blood and platelets now. The Red Cross urges donors to give blood as soon as possible to help fill this need. Eligible blood and platelet donors of all types are needed now.

Donors with types O, B negative or A negative blood are especially needed, however, every drop helps.
