Comey Memoir Publisher Moves Release Date Up
RELEASE DATE FOR FORMER FBI DIRECTOR JAMES COMEY'S MEMOIR MOVED UP TO APRIL 17TH
(CNN) – Former FBI director James Comey’s memoir will be published sooner than advertised.
Flatiron books says “a higher loyalty” will now be released on April 17th.
It was previously scheduled for publication on May 1st.
Flatiron says it moved up the date due to, “the demand for director Comey to add his voice to this urgent conversation about the FBI and its importance to our country.”
According to a description on Amazon, the book features Comey sharing stories from his years working for the U.S. government.
Comey is also expected to discuss, according to Amazon, what good, ethical leadership looks like.
President Trump fired Comey from his FBI post last year as he was in the midst of investigating possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Comey testified before congress that trump asked for his loyalty during a dinner meeting months before his dismissal.
