COREY JOYNER HAS BEEN NAMED HEAD COACH OF THE CARVER TIGERS FOOTBALL TEAM

Corey Joyner is the new head football coach at Carver High School.

Joyner coached six years at Dougherty, his alma mater.

The Trojans made the playoffs in the last two seasons.

Joyner played at Georgia Southern University and played in a national championship there.

He also played pro ball for the Montreal Alouettes in the CFL.

He’s excited about Friday night lights in Columbus.

“I love it, I love it. I love the atmosphere. I love the tradition that reminds me of my old school Dougherty,” Says Joyner. “It is the tradition here that brings you here and that I’m ready to be a part of.”
