Krewe De Tigris Holding 2nd Annual Mardi Gras Parade

in Auburn Saturday, February 10

Want to start Mardi Gras early? Then come to the Plains for Krewe De Tigris 2nd annual Mardi Gras Parade!

Last year, the parade drew nearly 6,000 people!

This year, they are making it an all day event.

As part of the “Krewe Krawl,” you can buy some beads and a wristband to get some discounts at 19 shops and restaurants in downtown Auburn starting at 11 a.m. CST.

The parade, though, starts at 5 p.m. with 35 floats, throwing beads, moon pies, a fun event for the whole family.

Founders said they wanted to bring the tradition back to where it all started.

“It’s an Alabama tradition and people don’t realize that. So, we wanted to bring that Alabama tradition to Auburn,” said Adris Ludlum, Communications Chair for Krewe De Tigris.
