Thunderstorms; Some Angry

Wet Wednesday

The recent bout with warm weather feels terrific.  However, it comes at a shower and thunderstorm price.   A cool front approaching this warm air that originated over the Gulf of Mexico, will be the triggering mechanism with periods of rain Wednesday, but more importantly some heavy thunderstorms during the afternoon and early evening hours.   There may even be damaging wind gusts in the strongest storm.   Rain will also be heavy enough in spots to create ponding of water on some roads.

Dry weather returns Wednesday night, leading into a very nice Thursday.

Clouds should be quick to return Friday; perhaps with an afternoon shower.   That combination will likely make Friday the coolest day this week.   Additional warmth, showers and thunderstorms are likely every now and then this weekend into early next week.   We run the risk of severe storms again by Sunday.
