Soldier of the Week

Staff Sergeant Zilvinas Lapelis came to the Untied States from Lithuania in 1987.

The U.S. Army needs soldiers who can move quickly and get,  job the job done then get out.

That’s where our Soldier of the Week comes in.

 

Staff Sergeant Zilvinas Lapelis came to the Untied States from Lithuania in 1987.

Since joining the Army in 2002 he has completed a collection of advanced infantry schools including sniper, air assault and path finder.

SSG Lapelis is a senior assault instructor , rappel master and fast rope insertion and extraction instructor.

Now Staff Sergeant Zilvinas Lapelis is the Columbus Rotary Club’s Soldier of the Week.
