Alabama Finally Gets to Celebrate Their 17th National Championship

THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP PARADE TRAVELED THROUGH TUSCALOOSA THIS WEEKEND

The Crimson Tide finally got their time to shine in T-town celebrating the programs 17th National Championship title.

The football team as well as coaches and staff paraded through the campus starting at Denny Chimes all the way to the walk of champions at Bryant Denny stadium.

The Allstate Sugar bowl trophy, Amway Coaches trophy and the College Football Playoff National Championship trophy were presented in front of the stadium.

Captains Bradley Bozeman, Rashaan Evans, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Shaun Dion Hamilton and head coach Nick Saban spoke to the estimated 40,000 fans on hand.

“You know we have a sign that says not to win a championship, but to be a champion and this group probably exemplified the togetherness, the hard work, the perseverance, the positive energy that goes with being a champion and I could never ever be prouder of a group for what they were able to accomplish this year,” said Nick Saban at the parade.
