Changes in diet can help cancer patients.

In Your Health Minute, a diet rich in soy, broccoli and kale may help reduce the side effects of breast cancer treatment.

Many breast cancer survivors suffer from hot flashes, night sweats and other unpleasant symptoms.

But a Georgetown University study found women who consumer more soy foods and cruciferous vegetables felt better.

Soy also helped decrease fatigue.

Despite these findings breast cancer patients should not increase their soy intake without talking with a doctor.
