Festivities Held Throughout Atlanta Before the 50th Annual Peach Bowl Game
Auburn University and University of Central Florida fans flooded Atlanta for the 50th annual Peach Bowl.
But, prior to the game, their were a ton of activities and events for the whole family.
Before the game kicked off, there was a parade and FanFest.
Many have traveled near and far to support their team.
“We’re coming out strong. UF and Florida State are getting a little tired now, so we are going to be the best team out there,” said the London Family, UCF graduates and fans.
Most of the fans we’ve met have also been a fan of the Tigers or the Knights for years.
“I bleed orange and blue,” said Michael Duke, AU fan.
“First time power 5 conference has ever sold out all their tickets we are going to have a good showing,” said the London Family.
And many went all out.
“I dress up crazy all the time. I also have painted my hair orange and blue, but I didn’t do it today and I have two more layers of Auburn underneath here,” said Duke.
Some here for more than just the game.
“Our daughter is in the Auburn band she is the piccolo section leader. She is a senior and it’s the last bowl game for her. So, we are excited to watch the band. War Eagle!” said Brenda Whittington.
Black and gold or orange and blue. The Peach Bowl showed jut how loyal these fans are to their teams.
Thousands of people came out for FanFest and the game was completely sold out.
