Delta Issues Travel Waivers for Cold Southeast Weather

(CNN) – Delta Air Lines is issuing travel waivers due to the cold weather in the southeast

The airline made the announcement on Twitter Tuesday.

According to CNN Meteorologist Monica Garrett; more than 100 million people are under wind chill warnings or advisories.

The southeast will see temps 10 to 15 degrees below normal this week.

The National Weather Service says hard freeze warnings remain in effect through Wednesday in typically balmy states, from Texas to northern Florida.
