Delta Wants Georgia Power to Pay for Losses From Airport Blackout.

Delta also wants Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International airport to chip in between 25 to 50 million dollars to cover the airlines' losses.

Delta airlines lost big bucks during the Atlanta airport blackout and they say Georgia power should pay.

CEO Ed Bastian says that doesn’t include the money Delta is spending to reimburse travelers for hotel stays.

Bastian said, he was shocked that it took almost 12 hours to restore power.

Hartsfield-Jackson is the world’s busiest airport, and the power outage forced Delta to cancel 14-hundred flights.
