Most Women Want a Mammogram Every Year

Women have a preference when it comes to how often they have a mammogram.

In Your Health News,

As the debate about mammogram frequency continues, most women say they want to be screened every year.

Some medical groups recommend bi annual , or every two year mammograms for older women to prevent anxiety from false positives and unnecessary biopsies.

However, a new survey shows 71 percent of women prefer to be screened once a year despite the risks.
