Columbus Teen wanted by Police shot Dead
Kuamane Ford wanted for Questioning about Tequilla Johnson Murder
Police say they were looking to question a Columbus teen, 19 year old Kuamane Ford about any knowledge he may have had regarding the murder of Tequilla Johnson back in September but a
killer got to him first.
Patrol officers responding to a 911 call discovered 19 year old Kuamane Ford inside a vehicle near the intersection Sherwood Avenue and 44th street.
Ford was dead from a gunshot wound but was it retaliation by gangsters?
“Well I don’t know that they were gangsters because I don’t know who took his life somebody got to him. Somebody killed him.”
19 year old Tequilla Johnson was shot dead on Ewart Avenue in September though police do not believe she was the intended target they are careful about describing Ford now as the prime suspect.
The 19 year old was wanted on several outstanding warrants, including aggravated assault and armed robbery when he was shot dead Tuesday night.
Police say the death of Ford doesn’t mean they will stop the investigation into Tequilla Johnson’s murder.
They are looking for a second suspect and now Ford’s killer as well.
