Tuskegee Man Arrested in Connection to Marathon Gas Station Robbery & Shooting
A 25-year-old Tuskegee man is in jail for robbing a Marathon Gas Station and shooting the clerk.
De’aundre Neal was arrested in Opelika on warrants of attempted murder and robbery.
This stems from October 2, when Neal walked into the Marathon Gas Station on Columbus Pkwy. demanded money and shot the clerk and another person in the store.
The clerk was taken to Midtown Medical Center in critical condition.
Neal is being held on a $175,000 bond.
Opelika police said they are looking for another person also connected to this robbery and shooting.
