Chick-fil-A Opening Pop-Up Rivalry Restaurant on Alabama/Georgia State Line for Big Game

For one day only, Chick-fil-A is opening a temporary “pop-up” restaurant on the Alabama/Georgia state line to celebrate the historic 125-year rivalry between Auburn University and the University of Georgia. We will be bringing Auburn, Georgia, and Chick-fil-A fans together for free food, activities, and entertainment. This is a family friendly event with games and activities for fans of all ages. There will be a huge screen on the grounds for viewing of the Georgia/Auburn football game.

This event will take place on Saturday, November 11, 2017. It will begin 3 hours before kickoff. Once the time of the game is released, the time of the restaurant opening will be set. The game time will be announced Monday, and will either be at 3:30 PM or 7:00 PM EST. This is a rain-or-shine event. The restaurant location is on the GA/AL state line in West Point, GA and Lanett, AL. It is located on the field next to Valley Vision Center.

Fans can pick up free wrist bands for themselves, friends, and family at the West Point and Lanett City Halls beginning at noon on Friday, November 3rd. You will need a wristband to enter the event. If you cannot get your wristband beforehand, we will also be giving them out at the event. Wristbands in advance give you priority access to the event. You may bring a blanket or a camp chair. Seating is on a first come/first served basis.

Chick-Fil-A will be providing free food and drinks at the event. No need to pack a lunch!

There will be limited parking available on a first come/first serve basis, so carpooling is recommended.

Along with food, games, you will be able to meet former Auburn and Georgia football players.
