Neil Armstrong Moon Dust Bag for Sale

FOR SALE: THE BAG USED BY NEIL ARMSTRONG TO COLLECT MOON DUST

(CNN) – Even if you achieve your childhood dream of becoming an astronaut, chances are slim that you’ll make it to the moon.

But if you can afford it, you can have part of the moon brought to you.

Sotheby’s is auctioning off a bag that Neil Armstrong used to collect moon samples as he strode through the sea of tranquility in 1969.

NASA says the bag still contains remnants of lunar dust.

It is expected to sell for between two and $4 million.

The current owner, who bought it at an auction of items seized by U.S. Marshals, had no idea what it was until NASA confirmed it.
