It’s Too Hot to be Outside


CDC says stay out of the heat.

As temperatures soar across the U-S this week, there are reminders to stay cool.

Intense heat can cause anything from a harmless rash to more serious conditions like heat stroke.

That’s why experts with the Centers for Disease Control recommend staying inside on these steamy days.

If you do have to go out, wait until the morning or evening hours when the sun is less intense.

It’s also important to wear lightweight clothing use sunscreen and stay hydrated.

If you start to feel faint, nauseous or become confused, call 911 immediately.

Remember that infants and the elderly are especially vulnerable to hear related illness.

And be sure to provide plenty of fresh water for your pets.
