Small Earthquake on The Georgia/Alabama Line

EARTHQUAKE HITS GEORGIA ALABAMA LINE AND MONTANA

According to the u-s geological survey more than three dozen earthquakes of magnitude two point five or greater have occurred in Georgia since 1974.

and  we had one on the Georgia-Alabama line Friday morning south of us.

However nothing like what happened in Montana.

The strongest earthquake to ever hit Montana in more than half a century knocked groceries off shelves..

A magnitude five point eight temblor rattled  western Montana just after midnight .

Nine smaller quakes followed over the next hour, one with a magnitude of four point five.
