Cosby’s Image Removed from Famous DC Mural

BILL COSBY'S FACE NO LONGER IN A MURAL AT POPULAR WASHINGTON EATERY

(CNN) – Bill Cosby is no longer part of a mural on the side of a popular eatery in Washington.

The images of Cosby and former president Obama were included in the original mural at Ben’s Chili Bowl.

But the images started to wear down, so a new version was unveiled last week.

It shows about a dozen prominent African-Americans, but not Cosby.

However, the restaurant says the move has nothing to do with sex assault allegations against him.

The new faces were chosen through a national online poll.

President Obama is still there, along with former first lady Michelle Obama, as are Prince and Muhammad Ali.
