Tennessee Teacher Allegedly Kidnapped Student

OFFICIALS REPORT ELIZABETH THOMAS AND TAD CUMMINS WERE LAST SEEN IN DECATUR, ALABAMA

A Tennessee teacher has allegedly kidnapped a 15 year old girl.
Officials report that they were last spotted in Decatur, Alabama.
The 15 year old, high school freshman, Elizabeth Thomas went missing about a week ago.
Elizabeth has blond-hair and was last seen at a restaurant in Columbia, Tennessee, which is about 45 miles south of Nashville.
Authorities believe 50-year-old, Tad Cummins, who was a teacher at her school, convinced Elizabeth to leave town with him.
Elizabeth’s father, Anthony Thomas said that Cummins told her, “He told her he had been in the FBI and the CIA. I tried to convince her that you don’t go from jobs like that to teaching in a rural school.”
The Tennessee’s Bureau of Investigation said Cummins was already being investigated for: ”Alleged inappropriate contact he had with Thomas earlier that year.” And that he “may have been abusing his role as a teacher to groom this vulnerable young girl for some time in an effort to lure and potentially sexually exploit her.”
Cummins now on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s top 10 most wanted list.
Elizabeth’s father, Anthony said, ”Every minute you just hope that you’re going to find her alive.”
Police believe Cummins is armed and say he took out a $4,500 loan, just days before his disappearance.
Call 911 if you see them.
