Man Who Died At Old Lanett Mill Identified

A worked who died at the old Lanett Mill earlier this week was identified by Lanett police on Thursday afternoon.

Cirilo Banuelos Reyes, a 50-year-old Hispanic male from Alexander City, was killed Tuesday when he fell from the fourth floor of the Dye Works building at the old mill, according to a Lanett Police Department release.

Lanett EMS and police responded to the demolition site and rendered aid to Reyes. He was transported to Lanier Health Services in Valley and later died  from his injuries.
