Glenwood duo sign baseball scholarships

College dreams were made Monday morning for two area baseball players.

Glenwood’s Brandon Moseley and Amaury Telemaco Jr. signed the dotted line and secured their spot at the next level.

Moseley is a former WLTZ Scholar Athlete and a shortstop with the Gators. He’s headed to Chattahoochee Valley Community College to play for a team who consistently makes it to the JUCO World Series.

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to do that and I just have to start working now even more than I did here,” Moseley said. “It’s a never-ending process almost and I’m just happy to be a part of it.”

Telemaco Jr. is headed to Hillsboro Community College. He’s playing with the Gators for the first time this Spring after coming from the Dominican Republic.

“I’m closer to accomplishing my dreams,” Telemaco Jr. said. “I’m happy about it, I’m excited.”

Both will hit the field with the reigning AISA-AAA state champions in a couple of weeks when practice begins.
