Young boy prevents truck tragedy

Maple Valley, WA (KING) A truck slammed into a group of middle school students at a bus stop Thursday morning in Maple Valley, Washington.

Six boys were injured in the crash, but authorities say none of the injuries appear to be life threatening.

The incident could have been much worse if not for the quick thinking of one student, J.T. McClellan, moments before the crash.

"He pushed me out of the way, but the other kids got hit," said fellow student Donavan Sayer.

Police arrested the 19-year-old driver of the truck for investigation of vehicular assault and driving with a suspended license. Investigators say he also had a history of seizures.
