Will Brussels trigger TSA changes?

(NBC News) Lawmakers sat down Wednesday with Transportation Security Administration chief Peter Neffenger to discuss possible changes in the wake of the Brussels attacks.

The hearing came a day after Senator Charles Schumer called for dramatic changes in the TSA.

Schumer wants to nearly double the armed security teams at airports, train stations and other transportation hubs, and step up efforts in unsecured areas including check-in, baggage claim and freight depots.

"We have three proposals here. If we had to give them one word each- dogs, active shooters, perimeters. We want to strengthen all three," Schumer said.
