Louisiana floods force evacuations

(NBC News) Severe flooding has left several Louisiana communities underwater.

Three deaths have been confirmed and more than 3,500 homes have been evacuated over fears that a nearby leavee could break.

Governor John Bel Edwards has declared a state of emergency for several parishes and the National Guard has been called in to help with any high water rescues.
