Rangers Struck By Lightning Released From Hospital

EGLIN AFB, FLORIDA – Eleven soldiers from Fort Benning have all been released after being struck by lightning while training at Eglin Air Force Base in the Florida Panhandle.
A total of 44, 40 ranger students and 4 instructors were conducting lightning protection protocol tests when a lightning bolt struck nearby.

They were all taken to a nearby hospital. Once treated, they all returned back to Fort Benning.
