Auburn’s LT Greg Robinson declares for NFL draft

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) — Auburn left tackle Greg Robinson says he's leaving for the NFL draft.

Robinson posted on his Twitter page on Tuesday that he is turning pro.

Gus Malzahn says Robinson “played a big part in our success this season
and I appreciate everything he did as an Auburn Tiger during his
career.” The coach says Robinson has a bright future.

6-foot-5, 320-pound Robinson is a third-year sophomore. Robinson is
projected as a possible first-round pick after starting every game for
the Tigers, who lost to Florida State Monday night in the BCS
championship game.

The first-team Associated Press All-SEC
performer helped block for 1,000-yard rushers Tre Mason and Nick
Marshall on the nation's top running team.

Robinson also started 11 games as a redshirt freshman.
