Students accused of indecency in school cafeteria

WOODSTOCK, Ga. (AP) —
Cherokee County school district officials say two high school students
are charged with public indecency after an attempted sex act was
recorded in the cafeteria.

District spokeswoman Barbara Jacoby
says a girl made a sexual offer to a boy in the Etowah High School
cafeteria Oct. 10 and another student began recording it. Jacoby says
the boy told administrators he thought the offer was a joke, and stopped
the girl when she began acting upon it.

Jacoby says students
blocked themselves from view and those who used cellphones to record
some of the incident deleted it once they realized they could face
charges.

Jacoby says there's no evidence that the video was ever distributed.
