Study ties chemical to possible miscarriage risk

BOSTON (AP) — Researchers say high levels of the chemical BPA may raise the risk of miscarriage for some women.

BPA is found in many plastics and canned food linings, and can have very weak, hormone-like effects.

Experts
say the new research doesn't show a link between BPA and miscarriages,
but suggests that the most at risk could be women prone to miscarriages
and those having trouble getting pregnant.
