Part Two:Behind the scenes with Steve Harvey
By Dee Armstrong (Atlanta, GA) Hollywood is a land of make believe. So its refreshing when you meet a huge Hollywood star who is the same off screen as he appears to be on television.
I had the awesome opportunity to sit and talk with mega star Steve Harvey on the set of family feud.
And what he wanted to talk about was not his awards and money and fame…but, about how blessed he feels to be there.
“I just want to be remembered as a person who was generous and kind and reached back and tried to help people.”
Steve Harvey runs a well oiled machine. Nearly a hundred people are on his staff making sure there are no feuds on the set of family feud. Moving the crowds in and out each day is a major undertaking.
What is so great about Steve Harvey. Well, he is so genuine and so real.
There are those who are on the outside waiting to get in. “What are you hoping will happen today? We just want a seat, we want to get in.” And there are those on the inside waiting to get a seat in the audience. “Hey Scott Carol, from Columbus.”
You are in the overflow room, you must really want to be here. Yes, I better get a seat inside. I came to see Steve Harvey.
It is a major Hollywood operation in the heart of Dixie.
He's a born again Christian who admits God is still working on him. And surveys say (clang) life is good for Steve Harvey.
” I am able to run a ranch for troubled kids, I have a nice home, a wonderful wife and kids who respect me. Heck, I have money because I don't do drugs….hehehehhe…Steve may I get a great big hug from you? Sure….Thanks you.. Good bye………
