Exclusive: Attorney for Columbus Regional Whistleblower speaks

Columbus, Ga. – A follow up on the stunning federal lawsuit filed against Columbus Regional Healthcare by their own top administrator, Richard Barker. The Administrative Director for the Amos Cancer Center filed the suit alleging massive overbilling by the center and its Chief Oncologist Andrew Pippas.

The story sent shock waves through the community and supporters of Columbus Regional didn't waste anytime responding privately to the lawsuit suggesting that Barker, who stands to make 30 percent of any money recouped, may be motivated by the “almighty dollar”, a suggestion Barker's Attorney vehemently denies telling NBC 38 it's pretty clear who's motivated by money in this case.
