Infant killed, woman injured in north Ala. crash

HOLLY POND, Ala. (AP) — Authorities are investigating a car accident that killed an 11-month old girl in north Alabama.

State
troopers tell WBRC-TV an accident Monday evening killed 11-month-old
Sophia Johnson and left her mother, 20-year-old Jazmine Johnson,
injured.

Authorities say the woman was wearing a seatbelt and it's
unclear what led to the crash. Officials say the driver of the other
car was not injured.

The accident remains under investigation.
