Sanderson re-elected NAACP President

Columbus, GA-It was a big weekend for the NAACP Columbus Branch.
Members of the organization gathered at the EITA Empowerment Center on Saturday to vote on all offices, including president.

Active members of the organization re-elected Nate Sanderson as president of the NAACP Columbus branch.   He was running against Reverend Richard Jessie

This will be Sanderson's second term as President of the local branch

“I'm excited about the potential for up coming years. We've already started to lay the foundation now it's time build on what we've started in the past two years, and move forward and make sure we are an effective viable voice in this community. We want to call Columbus to support the NAACP, this new administration, same administration and to bring about working together as a community and that's what we want to do,” said Sanderson.

“I want to be fully supportive of our president and trying build a strong naacp in Columbus, Georgia,”  said Reverend Jessie.
