Couple reunited with dogs after animal hospital closes

Huntsville, AL (WAFF) – An
Alabama couple is happy to have their pets back home, after the animal
hospital they were in shut down because of an emergency.

Lena and Lee Henry were reunited with their two dogs on Tuesday.

They left the pooches at an animal hospital in Huntsville while they were away on vacation. But, when they came back, the clinic was closed and their dogs were gone.

Lee Henry says, “I
had no real idea. They kind of explained that the state had closed them
down so I took for granted that there were medical or health
reasons…so when I finally got in contact with them, that's pretty much
what it was.”

A veterinarian called the couple to reunite them with their dogs.

The couple said they will take the animals to another vet clinic until the hospital reopens.
